Bodies & Skulls
I was commissioned by True Entertainment, a New York based television production company, to photograph a series of still-life images of preserved human skulls, bodies (and various internal organs) featured in the famous Bodies Exhibition. The images were used to illustrate and explain complex illnesses on Mystery Diagnosis, a TV show airing on Oprah Winfrey's Network, OWN.
The shoot took place during the night hours in the eerily quiet exhibition space in downtown Manhattan. The shots featured in this gallery were all taken in the section of the exhibition featuring the human circulatory system in the torso and skull.
